OKPay offer Personal and Business accounts. Although the homepage is cluttered and busy within your account the page is clear. Exchange rates are displayed along with wallet’s in EUR, USD and GBP.
You can view your transaction history and manage subscriptions. When ordering something all your wallets and payment methods are displayed with their balances, meaning it is easy to select the right account. The interface is well-designed, easy to work with and effective.

Security and Privacy

OKPay transactions are non-refundable, so the safety of your money is in your own hands. There are several option features for users to improve their security- pin codes, security questions, access authorisation (tied to an IP address associated with the account holder) and IP blocking from selected countries or addresses.

OKPay collect IP addresses and standard web log information (browser type and pages accessed), they can see your contact information and financial information (full bank account numbers and credit card numbers). Additional information may be required to verify identity and address in order to manage risk. They will gain information about users from third parties like credit bureaus and identification verification services.

Some information has to be collected and shared in order to complete payments. Your address may be given to sellers in order to complete transactions, the seller is not allowed to use this data for any purpose unless you consent to it. Information will be shared with third parties in order to satisfy the risk management mentioned above.

Verifying one’s account lets OKPAY enhance your credibility increasing trust and safety within the community. To verify an account you need proof of identity, proof of address, a mobile phone number (in order to use bank cards) and your email address. Express verification can be done in under 4 hours for a nominal fee, otherwise it can take up to 3 business days.

Without verification accounts are subject to a spending limit of 300 EUR. All limits are given in the currency of an account’s primary balance, so if you’re located in the US or the UK and have a different currency you have the equivalent of 300 EUR in either dollars or pounds.

OKPay users have the ability to submit a request relating to a specific department or topic. They also have an extensive FAQ section covering all aspects of the service. There are manuals and video tutorials available via the Support Desk. In addition to this they have a presence on many social networks and an official forum. Registered users need their OKPay Wallet ID before calling– English and Russian languages are available.
