“The acquisition of Ukash has given us the opportunity to expand the choice for consumers wanting to make secure online payments. We have brought together the best of the prepaid technologies from both Ukash and paysafecard to give consumers a safe and easy way to make online payments and we are now embarking on a nationwide campaign to ensure the retailers and users are aware of the changes taking place.”
Udo Müller, Chief Executive of paysafecard

Paysafecard has been available in the UK for several years and has been lauded for their use of online accounts and multi-lingual 24/7 customer services department. Like Ukash, paysafecard offers a method of online payment that is secure and fast.

In August current Ukash customers will get the chance to try out paysafecard with a free £5 paysafecard PIN. Anyone using the Ukash Travel Money Prepaid MasterCard issued by Prepaid Financial Services should note that this change does not affect that particular service; you can continue to load and spend with your card as before.

As ever it is important to remain vigilant and alert to any scams. However a change in branding is an opportune time for scammers to target users.
